Happy New Year to all South Norwalk Boat Club Captains.  I hope everyone had a great holiday season and you are starting the new year well.  With the winter now in full swing, and two snowstorms already under our belts, the warm weather cannot get here soon enough.  Now that the boats have long been out of the water, it is time to enjoy and take part in the other amenities and events at the Club.  Trivia Night will be coming back at the end of January.  Pasta Nights are scheduled for January 27th, February 24th and March 31st.  Mark your calendars for our annual Game Dinner on February 4th.  It is always a great night, and tickets sell out fast so make sure you are ready when they go on sale.  Night at the Races is also just around the corner in March and there will be more information on that coming soon.  Another wonderful Club event that goes a long way in supporting our Scholarship Foundation. 

Winter is a time to enjoy all the other things the Club has to offer.  With entertainment on the weekends, there is always something going on.  Come down, have a nice dinner and meet or see other people you may not get a chance to during the busy summer months.  Your Board and I are always available to discuss anything Club related so feel free to reach out.  As a reminder to all Captains, Club fees and other obligations are due on January 31st.  Don’t forget to get your payments in so you can avoid any late fees.  Let us all hope for a mild winter, the sun to be shining soon and I will see you around the Club.
