SNBC HOUSE RULES
- Guests entering the Club must be accompanied and immediately signed in by a Member and henceforth abide by all Club rules. Members will be responsible for payment for food and drinks incurred by their guests and for the conduct of their guests and their children. All children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Children are not permitted in the Club bar room at any time. No one barefoot, without a shirt or in wet clothing will be permitted in the Club proper. All shirts worn by males must have sleeves while inside the building. Bare feet are prohibited on all Club property.
- No gambling, soliciting, or commercial advertising is permitted on Club premises.
- The Member must promptly pay for any Club property broken, lost or damaged by a Member or by Member’s guest after the Board of Governors has approved the type of repair or replacement. The Club is not responsible for anyone’s personal property or personal injury to any Member or guest.
- A Member cannot allow their Club membership card key or fob to be used by anyone other than himself or herself. Violation of this rule means immediate suspension.
- A Member’s spouse will be allowed an access card key or fob for access to the Club Property. Member’s children over the age of 18 years old will be allowed an access card key or fob that opens gates from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM only. Violation of this rule may result in Member’s suspension.
- No animals or pets are permitted in Club buildings. Leashes are required at all times for animals on Club premises and owners are to pick up after their pets. All pets must be licensed, and owners are responsible and solely liable for all actions of their pets.
- No vehicles can be parked in Fire Lanes or other designated “No Parking” areas.
- No checks will be cashed for non-members. The amount of a Member’s check is limited to one hundred dollars per day.
- Members are not permitted to reprimand any employee. Complaints can be given at that time to a Member of the Board of Governors or to a Flag Officer. Formal complaints must be made to the Board of Governors in writing.
- Members and guests are requested to return glasses and bottles to the bar and keep tables clean.
- Time privileges of the Bar are regulated by the State Liquor Control Commission and are observed.
- During the Club meetings, non-members, waiting list applicants and Members not attending the meeting must leave the building on the first bell. No one other than Members, the bar help and waiting list applicants to receive their obligation will be allowed in the Club building. All waiting list applicants to receive their obligation at a meeting will remain in the bar area until the Sargent at Arms escorts them into the meeting. Only Members and waiting list applicants may return into the Club after the meeting.
- Smoking shall not be permitted anywhere inside of the Club building at any time. All smoking (including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vapes, e-cigarettes, etc.) shall be limited to parking areas only.
- Private parties are to be held in the Club Ballroom with Board of Governors pre-approval. Smaller parties of 35 or less may be held in the upper level of the dining area with prior Board of Governors approval. Private parties will not be allowed in the Dining Room, Barroom, Tiki Bar, parking lots or decks. No decorations are allowed outside of the Ballroom. Only Club approved decorations are allowed in the Dining Room and Barroom.
- Outside food is allowed in the Clubhouse only when the kitchen is closed. There is no restriction on outside food in the grill/picnic area or Marina.
- Members are allowed to consume their own alcohol in the Marina and outside areas only. Exceptions to this rule are no personal alcohol is allowed to be consumed on the main outside deck while the inside bar is open, and no personal alcohol is allowed to be consumed in the Tiki/grill/picnic area while the Tiki Bar is open.
VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE MAY RESULT IN A MEMBERS SUSPENSION.
